Belfast City Hall from Wellington Place
Completed in 1906 after eight years of construction, the grand classical edifice of Belfast City Hall continues to dominate the city centre to the present day.

The architect was Sir Alfred Brumwell Thomas, and his design provided the inspiration for Durban City Hall, which is an almost exact replica.
