Your photoshoot
Every photoshoot at Gary Hewitt Photography includes four stages to ensure you get pictures matching your exact requirements.
Stage One
Pre-shoot consultation:
This is your chance to tell me the type of portraits you want taken during your photoshoot. I'll show you some previous examples of my work, we’ll discuss what clothes you should wear, and whether you want to bring any props along.
Ideally, you should bring along a digital image of the room or rooms you have in mind for your finished images - see step three to see why this helps.
Stage Two
The shoot itself:
We'll fix a time convenient to you (including evenings) and you will have around 45 minutes in the studio, at the end of which you will have dozens of pictures to choose from.
After the shoot, I pick the best images and use them to design wall displays based on the requirements you set out during the consultation.
Stage Three
Viewing:
A week or so after the shoot your images will be ready for viewing. They will be projected onto a large screen, and you will be invited to shortlist your favourites.
Powerful presentation software means you can have a direct input into how your images will look.
We will also talk you through the various options for framing - traditional picture frames, canvas, block mount or perspex displays are available.
At stage one you were invited to bring along a picture of the room(s) in which your finished pictures will be hung. As long as there is a ruler or metre stick in the picture we can then show you how your finished pictures will look, to scale, in your own home.
Stage Four
Delivery:
You will be invited to collect your pictures, which will have been framed to your specification.
